Senior Manager, Regulatory Reporting (Regional)
The successful applicant will initially be leading the implementation of regulatory reporting work stream in a regional project, it is expected that the candidate would transit as part of BAU team upon project completion.

Qualifications and Skills
The successful applicant will initially be leading the implementation of regulatory reporting work stream in a regional project, it is expected that the candidate would transit as part of BAU team upon project completion.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Initial focus is to support the delivery of the regulatory reporting work stream in a regional project, with the following key responsibilities:
- Socialize with country teams and supporting teams to establish a target operating model covering the governance and processes in regional regulatory reporting
- Drive the gap analysis and monitor the implementation progress for regional locations to meet regulatory reporting requirement
- Act as lead contact point with system project team and country teams in the region to integrate the regional regulatory reporting process into the automated reporting solution in HK
Subsequent to project completion, the candidate will transit into part of the BAU team with the following key responsibilities:-
- Promote the Bank's reputation and relationship with the HKMA.
- Delivery of regional regulatory submissions and on-going process enhancement
- Proactively in addressing issues with internal and external auditors
- Provide advice and support on issues related to regulatory reporting in a regional context.
- Ensure an effective and efficient internal control system is in place for regulatory reporting process in a regional context to comply with the group regulatory reporting risk policy
- Address regulatory reporting requirement arising from new regulations or from new products / services in a regional context
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified accountant with solid experience in supervising the regulatory reporting process and well-versed in HKMA reporting requirements across various returns
- Sound communication skills, tactical and confident in interacting with regulator, senior management and overseas counterparts in the region
- Strong sense of control to identify potential regulatory reporting risks and implement preventive measures
- Good problem-solving skills, analytical skills and data skills
