Your new role
As Assistant Accountant your main responsibilities will include:
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have 2/3 years' experience in finance with an all-round working knowledge of accounts. You will be confident liaising with colleagues at all levels and be open to learn and develop with the role. You will ideally be part-qualified; however, this is not essential.
What you'll get in return
Alongside a salary of up to £30,000 you will receive 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays; life and accident assurance; death in service scheme; and a 1pm early finish every Friday. Working hours are 7:30am-4:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:30am-1:00pm on Fridays

- Matching, batching and coding invoices on a daily basis
- Balance sheet, supplier statement and bank reconciliations.
- VAT returns.
- Processing of BACS and CHAPS payments.
- Assisting with month-end closing.
- Assisting with year-end accounts.
- Journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Depreciation.
What you'll need to succeed
