**Rare part time opportunity!**

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our client on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely Finance reporting functions for our client. Working within the charity sector, you will have an awareness of charity finance requirements regarding cashflow.

This position requires working 15 hours per week, these hours must include Wednesday.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Prepare month accounts including end journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation
  • Update forecast with data
  • Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
  • Manage the payroll process including HMRC and pension process
  • Process, print & filing of monthly project reports with support from the Finance Assistant
  • Finalise Project Reports for (for program board)
  • Project Leader Meetings (Program Board)
  • Prepare annual accounts; complete and file year end
  • Alongside the Finance Assistant, prepare VAT returns & corresponding journals
  • Produce the finance reports for the Trustees Board liaising with the treasurer and CEO
  • Prepare finance commentary for Executives Meetings
  • Assist Auditors with yearly audit answering queries submitting data and paperwork as
  • and when needed
  • Other ad hoc tasks in line with the role of Finance Manager

We are looking for someone with:
  • Excellent business and financial analysis
  • Strong time management skills: strict observance of the deadlines, adaptability towards ad hoc requests and pressure.
  • Communication proficiency, written and oral, internal and external.
  • Ethical conduct, strategic thinking, team player
  • Professional qualification such as ACA or CIMA/ACCA or QBE
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent IT skills, timekeeping, meeting deadline
