This global leader in the manufacturing industry, based in Coventry, is currently recruiting for an IT Business Analyst. Due to the current market demand it has been identified that an additional IT Business Analyst is required to understand and support the current business needs, identifying how best to meet them in this area. You will be a key player in helping a globally renowned brand continue to prosper during an exciting time of growth and expansion.
Your new role
As an IT Business Analyst, you will act as an effective interface between business and technical functions through understanding business concepts and translating them into executable and functional designs, ensuring designs are executed as viable solutions and that the solution aligns with, and is compatible to, the overall business architecture. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for system roll–outs, subsequent incident resolution, service requests, requirement definition, design, configuration, testing and documentation; collaborating with key business and IT resources throughout and ensuring business needs are met for all through following best practice. Furthermore, you will be tasked with the configuration, testing and training during projects following the preferred methodology, whilst developing and updating functional design documents and testing scripts; working with other analysts always to understand integration points with other systems and to communicate the impact of proposed system changes. In this role, it will also be your duty to work with change management; completing service requests to the agreed service levels (SLA) and monitoring performance as to provide responsive action to issues, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through successful resolution of requests and issues raised.
