The Trinity City Hotel and Spencer Hotel (part of The MHL Hotel Collection) in Dublin city centre is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced professional for the role of cluster hotel accountant.

The role will include the following duties:
  • Monthly management accounts to trial balance level within tight deadlines
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Analysing revenue and overhead accounts
  • Reviewing stock take results
  • Weekly wages and revenue forecast reports
  • Assisting the AP and AR team

The ideal candidate will have:
  • The ability to prepare month-end accounts to trial balance level, analysing the figures in them and completing weekly reports such as wages and revenue forecasts.
  • The role would best suit a candidate currently studying for one of the major accountancy qualifications (Chartered, ACCA or CIMA) and who has experience in accounts preparation and analysing management reports.
  • A thorough knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel are essential
  • A hotel background is not necessary but would be a plus.
