REED Ireland are now recruiting for a full-time, permanent and mid-level credit control position for our client located along the DART line in South Dublin.
This is a first class opportunity for a credit controller looking for a role that reports directly into the Finance Manager of the company and will carry out accurate and efficient cash collection for an important portfolio of Blue Chip clients.
Ideally this role would suit any candidate looking for a role in the South Dublin area and who is looking to take autonomous control of their client portfolio and develop strong working relationships with those clients.
Finally this role is well located to the DART Line for anyone travelling in the surrounding areas.
Please find below a summary of everything our client is looking for:
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure all collection targets are achieved for company debt across the company.
Set and review credit limits in line with third party evidence and transactional history.
Become escalation point for all high risk or over trading customers whilst recommending appropriate action to be taken
Liaise with all solicitors if, or when, legal steps have had to be taken, presenting whilst accurate evidence when required.
Ensuring that the highest possible standards are achieved
Monitoring and ensuring all debtors pay on time and within their terms (via telephone, email, e-letters)
Preparing debtors ledger reports
Allocate cash correctly on the system
Provide analytical reports and cash forecasting insights to be used at management meetings
Skills Required:
Minimum 3-4 years credit control experience
Diploma in Credit Management or working towards is advantageous
Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
Strong communication skills given the nature of the role
Experience working in a customer focused environment
Excellent excel skill
