Weekly hours: 37 hours
Working hours and breaks: 0830-1700 Monday to Thursday & 0800-1630 Friday - 1 hour break
Job Purpose:
To assist with the production of the Monthly Profit & Loss and the monitoring of Balance Sheet controls in order to ensure the integrity of the numbers.
Principle Activities
To assist as necessary, in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
To assist the Financial Accountant with the Internal Audit programme, as required.
To carry out balance sheet reconciliations in a timely fashion in order to ensure the integrity of the Balance Sheet.
To assist as necessary with the timely production of monthly management accounts and the preparation of statutory accounts.
To update the cash flow spreadsheet daily and reconcile this weekly.
To be an effective team player and support colleagues to ensure their performance and development.
To undertake specific tasks as delegated by the Financial Accountant / Financial Controller.
Any other duties consistent with the business of Fremantle, your grade, and/or hours of work as may reasonably be required of you.
Qualifications, Training & Experience
Essential
At least 3 years experience in a similar financial environment. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and advise colleagues. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience of Coldharbour Financial Systems or similar accounting packages. Ability to work effectively under time pressure and flexibility to meet key deadlines, balancing priorities Full clean driving licence and use of car for work purposes
