Assistant Accountant, Ross-on-Wye, £26-28K plus benefits, 12 month fixed term contract
YOUR ROLE
We are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant with a Financial and Management Accounts background, ideally Part Qualified in ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent). Based in Ross-on-Wye easily accessible from locations including Gloucester, Hereford, Monmouth or Ledbury.
Comfortable working in a small team, you will have an organised and analytical approach to enable you to deliver results and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy. Computer literate in all MS Office applications, a previous working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
Responsibilities will include:
Budget planning and coordination
Head Office accounting
Divisional reporting
Cost centre committee review
VAT and Intrastat oversight
Provide Business Intelligence support and reporting
Management results package reporting
Assisting subsidiaries
This is a varied role within an established finance team, and will provide the opportunity to develop and progress. Ideally Part Qualified or with equivalent experience, you will be a strong communicator with strong VAT knowledge.
