Financial Accounting Manager

Newly created Financial Accounts Manager.

Salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus impressive benefits.

Our client is a multi-national organisation with internal succession planning and a rewarding employee culture at it's heart. This role will be responsible for maintaining the accurate and complete financial records for the UK companies, the day to day financial accounts, and supporting with compliance for company and statutory regulations.

Description

You will:

• Manage the successful delivery of the annual audits for all UK statutory entities working closely with Group Finance feeding into consolidation.
• Assess and improve existing finance systems, controls and processes. Help to implement new systems where required. Document processes and identify single points of failure.
• Liaise with Line Manager, and Group Finance to produce the annual Statutory Financial Statements, in line with required deadlines and fully compliant with UK legal requirements.
• Review, maintain and analyse all balance sheet accoujtns ensuring the integrity and reliability of balances held.
• Manage a team of five.

Profile

Requirements:

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of three years post qualified experience.
• Strong academics, ideally degree educated.
• A good working knowledge of reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel.
• Comfortable producing statutory accounts, managing the relationship with key stakeholders and auditors, and has an ability work well under pressure.
• Experience of leading a team.
