The Role

We are now seeking a Credit Controller to improve the financial performance of Ryder Ltd through improved cash flow by controlling a given number of Customer Accounts to ensure that all invoices are paid quickly and efficiently in accordance with prescribed & contractual payment terms.

Reporting to the Credit Team Supervisor, you'll pro–actively make contact with customers to promote payment of invoices and record details of all contact discussions and follow up on any agreed actions / escalate where required.

About You

We're seeking a confident, self–motivated, team player with excellent communication skills and good excel skills, to investigate queries and work to exact time–frames.

Other qualifications and skills include:

  • Minimum 12 months of Credit Control experience within a similar sized organisation
  • Educated to GCSE level – Maths & English is essential
  • Computer skills – Account Packages / Excel / Word / Outlook
  • Ability to work accurately and quickly to produce work/results to exact timelines
  • Ability to remain focused on several issues and prioritise to ensure timely resolution
  • Ability to remain effective in a task focused role where performance is constantly measured
  • Self–assured to act without constant direct supervision
  • Good communications skills both telephone and written
  • Strong customer service skills

Salary & Benefits

As part of the Ryder team, you will receive:

A competitive salary based on experience along with a great benefits package that includes a generous pension scheme, good holiday allowance, and other corporate benefits. You will be working a 5 day week, Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours from our corporate office in Dukinfield between 9am to 5pm.
