Our client a well known & growing business based in Sutton are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their Accountancy team
Description
Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their Accountancy team in Sutton
- Scrap Accounting
- Calculating and posting some Accruals/Prepayments (like rent, rental income, bonus etc)
- Issuing monthly Area/Region Managers P&L's and providing explanations/ breakdowns as requested
- Producing monthly Head Office departments P&L's and providing explanations/ breakdowns as requested
- Being involved in the yearly budgeting process
- Actively being involved in the month-end process
- Dealing with everyday store queries
- Dealing with field support queries in an efficient and professional manner
- Any other duties as may be required from time to time.
- Liaison with all internal departments
Profile
A successful candidate will ideally be studying towards professional qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) with Intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
An understanding of Double-entry bookkeeping & Prepayments and accruals is essential
