Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the overall function of the Accounts Payable team.
• Manage the running of the Accounts Payable process.
• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties are maintained within the team across the activities of Accounts Payable, Business Internet Banking payments and claims cheque issuing.
• Act as Accounts Payable contact, both internally and externally, investigating and resolving all purchase order, invoice and payment queries.
• Manage the weekly general ledger reconciliations.
• Responsible for the production of weekly/monthly Accounts Payable control reports and supplier payments report.
• Supervisory duties in respect of direct reports to include performance appraisals, monitoring staff attendance etc.
• Responsible for posting the journals created and run the Consolidation process as required.
• Facilitate administration of the Expense Authorities document.
• Monitor Accounts Payable mailbox ensuring requests are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Inputting supplier invoices.
• Ensure working practices and controls comply with company policies and procedures whilst proactively identifying working process improvements.
• Responsible for monitoring & updating the Expenses Policy where applicable.

Profile

Successful Candidate:

• Demonstrable experience of working in a supervisory & hands on role.
• A proven track record working on accounts payable processes.
• Computer literate with a good to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
