Senior Accountant and Xero / Online Accounting Specialist

An accountancy based in Bristol is looking to bolster its highly successful team with the addition of a Senior Accountant and Xero / Online Accounting Specialist. In this varied role, you will play assist on the delivery of accounts, tax, management accounts, VAT etc to varied clients. Alongside this, as major part of your role you will lead developing the cloud accounting services of the firm, as the firms Xero and online accounting expert.

Description

Joining as Senior Accountant and Xero / Online Accounting Specialist, based from the firms offices in Bristol, you will have a dual role here, split approximately 50/50. One half of your role will be involved with assisting partners, managers and the wider teams on the hands on delivery of accounts preparation, tax, management accounts, VAT etc for mixed sole traders, partnerships and limited company SMEs and OMBs across wide ranging industries and turnovers. The other half of your role will be focused on on developing the cloud accounting aspect of what the firm offers. You will be involved in preparing and presenting Xero workshops and seminars for clients. You will act as a key point of contact, both internally and externally for clients, helping with queries and advice on this side. You will assist with implementations, preparing management accounts. There will be chance to become Xero, Quickbooks Online etc certified, should you not bring these certifications already. You will carve a key position within the firm and progress in your career.

Profile

You will be either highly experienced, as a QBE with an accountancy practice background, or qualified AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience gained in practice. Your experience will have been gained in any of small, medium or large independent firm environment or larger Top 50 firm background and you will have experience preparing accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships, along with a strong skill set in Online Accounting software , Xero etc and be looking to utilise this skill, as the firms expert in this field and help drive and further the development of this side of the practice.

Job Offer

£28,000 - £35000 dependent on experience, background, plus benefits, negotiable
