mininum of a internim secret clearance required for this role The responsibility of the team falls under the Deficiency, Remediation, and Tracking (DRT) Lead and works directly with various Assessable Unit (AU) Contractor Leads and other key stakeholders to collect, monitor, and track Corrective Actions Plans developed to remediate Financial Statement impact deficiencies. Candidates must be efficient and organized in the data collection, tracking, and reporting process that uses standard templates, tools, and spreadsheets to consolidate deficiency information and accurately report CAP progress, including risk management and mitigation techniques, to key stakeholders. Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of the standardized CAP development methods and required elements to perform an effective quality review of the CAPs developed by the AU andor other stakeholders. Four (4) year degree in accounting or business management related field from an accredited institution One of the following professional certifications, at a minimum Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Four (4) years of accounting or financial management experience. Three (3) or more years of progressive experience in leading business management andor financial management services projects. Experience performing andor supporting financial statement activities in the Department of Defense (DoD) or federal agencies. Experience preparing financial statement assertion packages preferably relating to Property, Plant and Equipment asset classes.
