Budgeting and Control
Monitors costs and resources in day-to-day activities and cost optimization
• Holds responsibility for section’s staffing and budgeting projections
Operational Tasks
• Analyzes cluster development feasibility studies to use them as a basis for future cluster economic planning and achieving maximum optimization of capital involved
• Conducts economic analysis of potential cluster opportunities in coordination with Economic Planning Department activities
• Reviews situational analysis to determine strategic opportunities and threats to the achievement the Client strategic direction and managing capital accordingly
• Reviews and Administer capital project budgets for large/risky/ cross-city projects
• Monitors summary budget for large/ risky/ cross-city projects
• Short and long-term capital planning – leads in the preparation and review of the cities’ capital plans that optimizes the mix to client’s value added projects, in aligned with Client longer term-strategic plan and meets initial financial hurdles that can be further develop upon detailed capital project review
• Working with Economic planning, Strategic planning & Investment promotion department in the following exercises:
• Develop detailed cluster requirements approach to facilitate the development of various clusters across the cities such that Client Specific cities’ attractiveness gets enhanced
• Conduct cluster development feasibility studies to use them as a basis for future cluster economic planning
• Identify best industrial cluster concept and community concept (e.g. needed numbers/quality/types of community facilities (hospitals, schools, etc) to support/ increase City attractiveness along with revenue enhancement and parallel ensuring provision of high quality services to the tenants at competitive prices
• Coordinate with Investment Promotion to identify the organization target list and investment promotion objectives
• Identify and plan optimal product and service portfolio for each business unit to maximize synergies and promote clustering such that CAPEX and OPEX for the tenants get reduced
• Provide the needed specialist insight during the implementation of new operations plans, policies, procedures, and transition/migration plans while ensuring they are consistent with the overall goals and objectives of Client
• Undertake/assist in special projects as needed and other related duties as assigned or directed
