Client Details

My client is an aerospace company specialising in aircraft repairs and parts manufacturing. They are based in Bishop's Stortford and are a niche but growing business. They are looking for an accounts assistant on a temporary basis to join their team.

Description

The responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial statements and reporting including assisting the finance team with the preparation of the primary and supporting financial statements for Group reporting.
• Maintaining core accounting including the integrity of General Ledger, Account Receivable and Accounts Payable accounts.
• Finance support and point of contact for Finance Shared Service Centre, Logistics Service providers, business, customers and suppliers for any non-standard accounting issues.
• Driving improved controls in core accounting areas including reviewing processes involved in AR, AP and GL maintenance
