Part Qualified Accountant

Our client a leading city centre based Financial Services organisation are seeing a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team. This job has an excellent salary and benefits package such as Healthcare allowance, study support, pension and bonus.

Responsibilties:

Review of all invoices, commission statements and insurance bordereaux

Preparation of any manual invoices & commission statements for International Contracts

Preparation of all electronic aggregate sales files for specific International contracts

Bank statement SAP uploads along with the completion of monthly bank reconciliations for all International Contracts bank accounts (15 currencies).

Cash allocation and SAP balance sheet clearing of bank control accounts

Prepare and maintain a complete and transparent audit trail for all assigned duties and responsibilities

Updating and maintenance of all monthly control schedules for back-office tasks and assigned duties and responsibilities

Coordination with the various banking partners for updates to all regulatory and compliance documentation required under the guidance of Treasury Manager

The Candidate:

Part qualified accountant (currently studying for a recognized professional accountancy qualification)

Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a Finance department

Ideally have Insurance/Reinsurance background and accounting experience

SAP reporting system knowledge and experience an advantage

A strong ability to work on their own initiative

Possess excellent problem solving and relationship building skills
