Reed Accountancy are currently representing a fantastic Publishing Company based in the City of London who are looking to bring on board a Credit Controller to join their team. Our client specialises in Publishing and has been operating since 1978 delivering their services to individuals and businesses throughout the Publishing market. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and motivated Individual to join a growing, forward thinking organisation with the opportunity to further develop alongside an experienced and established Manager. This role will suit an individual who is looking to progress and has previous experience working as a Credit Controller .

Job Description
The role will be reporting directly into the Credit Control Manager working alongside a team of Credit Controllers and would suit a candidate who is looking to progress and further develop within their career. As an overview you will be responsible for:-

-To maximise the collection of outstanding debt and manage 1000 live accounts.
-To ensure the prompt collection of monies by telephone, e-mail and letter.
-Issuing reminder letters and placing accounts on Stop Sale.
-Obtaining assistance from the Account Management Team to collect unpaid debt.
-Reconciliation of key accounts
-Resolving all account related queries with the Customer Services and Account
management Team.

Our client is offering £25,000-28,000 and full Study Support with 25 days holiday as well as a contributory 5% pension scheme.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be from a Credit Control Background and have experience working within a similar role, or seeking to transfer their skills as a progressive step forwards into this post. The successful candidate will possess an excellent eye for detail, a can do attitude and a willingness to deliver key business objectives in a timely fashion. In order to apply for this role you will need to ensure that you meet the below criteria:-

1. Sage50/200
2. Intermediate Excel Skills}
3. Degree and working towards ACCA/CIMA/ICM/AAT
4. 1-2 years experience
5. Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)
6. Punctual
7. Can do attitude
