A great opportunity has come available for an experienced Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant to join a growing SME business close to Swindon/Chippenham area.
This is a great opportunity to join a business within a varied role, within a growing team.
The role is to provide bookkeeping and accounting support for the business and three other trading companies.
This is a varied role which will give you the opportunity to get involved with a broad range of accounting functions including:
- Purchase Ledger - inputting invoices, investigating discrepencies, raising debit notes, payment runs
- Credit control
- VAT returns
- Supplier payments
- Fixed Assets
- Stock invoicing
- Accruals and prepayments
- Journals
- Intercompany transactions
- Stock Control
My client is looking for someone with previous Bookkeeping experience, preferably within an SME environment.
Ideally you will have some experience with VAT returns, accruals, prepayments and working knowledge of Sage 50.
