Client Details

Our client a large and reconsigned business based in Crawley West Sussex. Is looking for a Financial and Tax Accountant to join their Accountancy team.

Description

The Financial and Tax Accountant will be a key figure in the day-to-day running of the Accountancy department.

  • Monitor and research the impact of new tax legislation and accounting pronouncements to determine the financial statement reporting impact and to ensure compliance.
  • Support with tax related accounting projects.
  • Assist Group Accounting and Group Business control with nonrecurring special projects and process development/improvements as needed.
  • Have a close relationship with the local tax advisors .
  • Work with the auditors to prepare and file the UK Statutory accounts.
  • National statistics filings.
  • Support the Elekta Business Services (EBS) team to complete the monthly Group reporting.
  • Own and operate Finance based internal controls.

Profile

The successful candidate should be able to travel to Crawley for work be part qualified ACA preferred, Also at least 2+ years from an account pratice background.

Also be able to travel 10% of the time.

Job Offer

Salary £30,000-£40,000
