Practice Accountant

Im working with a client based in the darlignton area who have various roles to join their successful accountancy branch at different levels.

Please note salary is negotiable for all roles but ideally we are looking for:

Traniee Chertered Accountant
Assistant Manager
Audit and Accounts Senior

The key duties of the role are:

Preparation of accounts for our larger clients from a variety of client’s systems – sage, client bespoke systems, Xero, QBO etc
Audit of financial statements from planning to completion, including responsibility for managing the on-site audit team including review of their work
Preparation of corporation tax computations
Actioning queries raised by accounts and tax managers on the drafts
Finalisation of the accounts and corporation tax computations following client meeting
Acting as a point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries

The ideal candidate will:

Be ACA or ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience
Have relevant accounts and audit experience
Be looking for the challenge and opportunity to progress their career with the firm
Audit experience with SME / owner managed businesses would be preferable
Be capable of working with partners and senior members of staff on a variety of issues and assisting junior members of staff with improving both their technical and professional skills
