RK Finance have partnered exclusively with a small yet growing and successful group of companies who have a newly created Management Accountant position due to a recent acquisition. This role has been designed to work alongside an engaging Head of Finance to support the overall finance function for two interesting divisions.
Your role in your new job
This is a varied Management Accountant role which offers a broad view of the overall business whilst maintaining a hands on remit in month end routine. You will oversee the work of 2 Assistant Accountants and be involved in their training and development. You will be responsible for the production of the management accounts pack with associated commentary and analysis; preparation of cash flow forecasts; assisting with budgeting; and supporting with year-end statutory accounts preparation. The business has ambitious plans to expand through further acquisition and as you become established in your role, you will have the opportunity to support with strategic plans alongside Senior Management.
Your experience and our requirements
This is a varied role which offers a broad view of the overall business. To be considered, you will already have practical understanding of the P&L and balance sheet and be comfortable in delivering key financial information to non-finance stakeholders. Full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is desirable but consideration will be given to applicants who are QBE. Whilst staff experience is advantageous, this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant looking for a step into a management position as relevant support will be provided in this area.
