Management Accountant - Retail/Stock experience required

My client a growing online retail company are seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. This role will be suitable for candidates with experience working within the retail sector along with experience of stock.

Prepare and finalise management accounts
Capital expenditure reporting
Statutory accounts preparation in accordance with FRS 102
Group accounts and consolidations
Intercompany reconciliations
Cost accounting
Stock accounting and control
Statutory reporting, P11d’s PSA etc
Assist with the Budgeting and forecasting process
VAT, UK and EU
Commentary and variance analysis
Involvement in implementation of new ERP and finance system including data migration.
Reviewing and improvising finance processes and SOP’s
Business partnering with commercial and operations teams
KPI reporting

Fully qualified/Part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
Management accounting and stock experience
Minimum of 8 years retail experience
Thorough understanding of management information systems.
Excel Ability: Pivot Tables, v-lookups and various other complex functions
Effective stakeholder management including senior managers, and ability to work well with
others at all levels
Large Data Manipulation
Detail-oriented
Problem Solving / Lateral Thinker
Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to successfully communicate with people at all
levels, both financial and non- financial
Highly competent, with solid commercial acumen.
