A small firm of Accountants and Registered Auditors based in Muswell Hill seeking a good all round accounts assistant/administrator to join the team either on a full time or part time basis.
They are an ACCA approved audit training practice and training, where needed, will also be provided for the right candidate. The full time/part time role (09.30-17.30) may suit someone seeking to further their practice experience or returning to work in accountancy.
The main duties of the role:
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Administering Payroll for Clients
• Reconciling Bank Accounts
• Processing of Control Accounts
• Bookkeeping up to at least trial balance
• Providing support for everyday tax and accountancy functions
• Ad Hoc Duties
The Ideal Candidate must have/be:
• At least 18 months experience in an accounting role,
• Have good IT skills with proven ability to use word, excel and computerised accounting software (Sage, Quickbooks, CCH software and payroll packages)
• As well as being polite, professional, and presentable and possess requisite interpersonal and communication skills.
• The successful applicant should also have the ability to work independently.
