Change are currently representing a market leading organisation based in Glasgow with the recruitment of a Business Analyst to join their well-established team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong analytical and business partnering skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong global presence.
The main duties are:
· The production of profit and loss accounts on a monthly basis
· Building strong relationships with Directors & Stakeholders across the business
· Liaise with specific departments to prepare various budgets & forecasts
· Analyse monthly results and prepare commentary for Management
· Supporting the project team
· Providing relevant analysis & support
· Adhoc duties & supporting the wider finance function
The organisation is focused on improving earth’s environment and lowering the carbon footprint through various recycling and renewable energy initiatives. Therefore you can expect to join a company at the forefront on improving one of our planets largest problems.
The successful candidate should ideally:
· Hold an accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW)
· Have an analytical approach to their work with strong attention to detail
· Be experienced in SAP with Advanced Excel skills
· Experience of working in a multi-site environment
