My client, a leading Oil and Gas business are looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join their expanding business. The company have acquired new business securing long term growth on an international basis.
As a Group Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for looking after the group cashflow reporting alongside the preparation of accounts. Duties will consist of.
This position will suite a Big 4 Qualified Accountants first or second move into industry as the business provide a fantastic opportunity progress within the business.
As a Group Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for looking after the group cashflow reporting alongside the preparation of accounts. Duties will consist of.
- Preparation of month-end workings, reconciliations and journals for the Group’s debt instruments, commodity and FX derivatives and share-based payments
- Coordination and consolidation of management reporting on a monthly basis, including liaising with other offices
- Analysis, challenge and presentation of results
- Financial reporting for Trading Entity
- Balance sheet reconciliations for Group accounts
- Compliance with, and continual improvement of, Group control environment
- Preparation of the annual and half-yearly accounts
- Maintenance and issuance for completion of the Group reporting packs
- Responsible updating the Share based payments models
- Involved in the preparation of Group statutory accounts
