Our client based in the Thirsk area is looking to recruit someone in to their accounts team on a twelve month fixed term contract. The client is going through a period of change and their Accountant is needing some support to allow her to concentrate on a new project which is being implemented. Duties would include:

They are looking for someone who has previous experience within a similar role, who is self-sufficient and able to work on their own initiative.
Own transport is essential due to the location of the company.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Weekly Cash Flow forecast
- Submitting Quarterly VAT Returns
- Prepare and post accruals and prepayments at month end
- Journals
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Process and authorising expense claim forms
- Prepare monthly purchase ledger payment run, ensuring all suppliers are paid accurately
- Bank reconciliations
