Global Asset Management Business

Salary: Circa £50,000

This is the chance to join a global, market-leading and rapidly expanding Asset Management business as a Junior Trader, based in offices close to Piccadilly and Oxford Street. This role will report directly to the Head of Trading, over time this will give the individual in the role an excellent opportunity to develop the necessary skills to assist in the management of a significant trading book.

The Junior Trader will sit with the investment team, providing support to the trading desk and will be primarily responsible for Transaction Cost Analysis, provide team support where required and in future will provide additional trading coverage. Excellent Learning and Development environment for an individual with aspirations to become a trader in the future.

The Role

The successful candidate will need to be someone of a very high numerical calibre, with a good programming background and proven knowledge of working with VBA. Strong communication skills, a high level of energy, commitment, drive, numeric and intuitive with the ability to think outside the box. You should be a self-starter, reliable and a critical thinker. Knowledge of best execution practices and Bloomberg are highly desirable, as is a good understanding of compliance regulations and understanding of MiFID II.
