Finance Manager

Responsibilities

Projects

Lead and support ad-hoc Finance projects which includes system implementation, legal entity restructuring and simplification projects
Leading Enterprise operational risk initiatives for finance team and coordinating deliverables across all APAC finance teams
Management Reporting
Support management reporting for various line of business groups
Provide insightful analytics and creating financial presentations

Accounts Payable

Lead team responsible for management reporting, finance projects, accounts payable, expense allocations and out-of-pocket reimbursements
Liaise with Corporate Accounts Payable group in U.S. on day to day operations
Manage inventory of bank accounts and associated access controls
Provide professional guidance on Accounts Payable requirements and workflow of full payable cycle per corporate policy
Collaborate with local branch Finance Manager and APAC Payroll team on vendor expense requirements, expense budgeting, and cash funding requirements
Perform expense analysis and provide value-added comment to senior management on variance analysis
Ensure updated documentation exists for all work flow processes in compliance with corporate policy and procedures

Finance Team

In addition to regular responsibilities, team member will be asked to support ad-hoc Finance and cross-functional projects/initiatives/functions as opportunities arise
Lead and foster career development opportunities for junior team members
Maintain an environment of high integrity and process control

Requirements:

University degree holder (Specialized in Accounting/Finance is preferred) or demonstrated accounting knowledge recognized by professional accounting bodies
7+ Years’ Experience in Accounting/Finance, Accounts Payable or related functions
Experience leading a team or directing work preferred
Experience with monthly management reporting preferred
Excellent cash management knowledge and bank account operations experience
Proficient in navigating online payment platform and familiar with various wire payment types (e.g. TT, ACH, RTGS, and BT)
Experienced in SWIFT message communications between Banks
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Proven capabilities with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Knowledge of best practices on Accounts Payable control and banking requirements or regulations across APAC regions
Experience in the banking industry preferred
Knowledge of Oracle booking and reporting tools
Experience with Hyperion management reporting system
