EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT You will become part of a great company that offers room to grow and excellent experience for the right candidate. Main Duties will include: Reconcile cash and bank daily Maintain Cash Book Lodge cash & A/C receipts daily Prepare management accounts for the branch SALES LEDGER Allocate receipts daily Contact Debtors re overdue accounts Print & post Statements Print monthly reports PURCHASE LEDGER Post purchase invoices and payments Reconcile Accounts to Supplier statements Print monthly reports Organise payments to Suppliers WAGES Prepare wages weekly Set up payments online Monitor payments to Revenue Complete & file Annual P35 return V A T Complete VAT Returns & pay on-line There will also be general administration duties as required and you will report to local office as well as Head Office Candidate Requirements: * Ideal candidate will be IATI Qualified / Qualified By Experience and will have extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a wholesale/distribution environment. * Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft excel * Well organized and methodical. Team player * Good communicator and can deal effectively with non-financial people * Stability in previous employments and good references required * Able to work on own initiative and takes a proactive approach to problem solving * A willingness to learn and to be flexible and adaptable.
