Operations Manager (Kilkenny) Sector: Engineering This role provides a significant career advancing opportunity to join an organisation which provides engineering services throughout Ireland and Internationally. Reporting to the Directors of the company, responsibilities of the role will include: •    Management of the annual budget process •    Preparation of monthly management accounts •    Cashflow management and financial reporting . Leading a team and ensuring delivery of services in most cost effective way ensuring all details are correct . Interacting with engineers on a daily basis to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget . Participation in tender and contract pricing •    Set project financial milestones •    Management Project costing system and report all project costs and analyse variances •    Review processes, procedures and systems to ensure best practice and for process improvements The successful individual will have the following: •    Business / Accounting qualification •    5+ years' experience in a similar role. •    Motivated individual with excellent communication skills •    Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, Sage Line 50 and Project Management systems. The successful individual will ideally have experience within an SME gained during an aggressive growth phase and gained experience in the associated financial challenges and control structures required would be an advantage.
