This candidate should be capable of interacting with the Management Team and Engineering Staff (across a multi-office environment), external Accountancy firm and a wide range of external Clients and Organisations. The Role This role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to take lead on all accounting related matters within the organisation. The responsibilities and accountabilities of the role would be as follows: Financial Management Credit Control Developing Relationships with clients FC's Setting up, implementation and maintenance of all accounting and internal controls developed. Day-to-day finance operations, cash flow management & regulatory compliance Complete HMRC & Revenue returns for both Dublin & Belfast. i.e. VAT, P30 Process Payroll for all ROI and UK offices Bank Reconciliations Ownership of all aspects of the financial reporting, management reporting and budgeting and Cash flow forecasting using the results of the Company's Project Information Management software The Candidate Experience in a similar financial admin role is a must Experience in the use of Sage 50 Accounts, Sage Payroll & Micropay. Worked within a service industry is preferential - ideally a construction related consultancy Practice etc. Completed an accounting technicians course or similar with 5 plus years' industry experience Advanced Excel Skills and good computer knowledge Must be articulate and numerate with good communication/presentation skills. Have experience using Union Square would be a benefit but not essential Liaise with company auditors / Bank Managers / Revenue We are offering negotiable salary package, commensurable with your position and experience.
