Description

Senior Finance Analyst Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely reporting of the business areas financial performance/KPI's on a weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual basis
• Review monthly and year end P&L and Balance Sheet results and commentary with shared service centre
• Preparing detailed annual budgets and forecasts
• Prepare and present reports & KPIs to senior heads across the function
• Delivering independent analysis, insight and business performance improvements to support costs and profitability within the function
• Preparing financial models for business initiatives and key sourcing/ supplier analysis
• Prepare monthly executive summary for senior stakeholders within the function
• Supporting the preparation of any investment appraisals and post implementation reviews of investment cases against any business plans
• Develop relationships within the management team stakeholders, supporting them to provide day to day support to the business
• Developing financial models that can support key business decisions across the function
• Upholding a continuous improvement mindset and seeking opportunities to drive positive change in finance and/or business processes to improve efficiency, maximise value for money and improve stakeholder experience
• Working collaboratively with business area and other cross-functional teams

Profile

Senior Finance Analyst Requirements:

• Degree Educated
• CIMA/ACCA Finalist studier or qualified by experience
• Excellent financial modelling skills and Microsoft Excel skills
• Commercially orientated with an ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders in a business facing role
• Self starter who takes full accountability
• Ability to conduct accurate, auditable, repeatable analysis
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Ability to balance working in the detail with bigger picture
• Comfortable approaching unfamiliar problems
