Work Location New York POSITION NUMBER PROJECT NAME Work Tracking System – Phase III DSS JOB TITLE Business Analyst PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Work Tracking System (WTS) under this initiative would provide a new automated capability for arranging, scheduling, assigning and routing all of the tasks involved in SNAP eligibility and case management work according to due date, priority, availability of appropriately–skilled resources, and estimated duration. In order to keep the WTS up–to–date, frontend and backend integration with systems such as Paperless Office System (POS) and Streamlined POS, New York City Work, Accountability and You (NYCWAY) and the State s Welfare Management System (WMS) will be needed to inform and trigger various actions and indicators in the WTS. The WTS will perform automatic calculations using dates, status values, and other inputs from these systems and leverage discrete business rules to categorize, prioritize, and assign available work. In addition, a small number of interfaces in SPOS must be developed in order to provide the full functionality of WTS. This includes, but not limited to Eligibility Document review and Unified SNAP intake. Tasks Duties Conduct and Implement Testing of application Develop test cases and acceptance criteria Conduct QA testing and acceptance between staff, developers, and stakeholders. Coordinate QA testing and acceptance between QA staff, developers, and stakeholders. Create Test cases vs. RTM Matrix against the user stories to support application development Develop business and technical requirements Identify user stories and translate them into technical requirements as required Develop user stories and break down requirements into deliverable functionality. Review the requirements with the stakeholders for their approval. Provide Management Reporting and Information dissemination Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented. Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback. Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to spec and on time. Required Skills Minimum 6–8 Years Experience in Business Analysis tools such as JIRA, Balasamiq MS Visio. Minimum 6–8 Years Experience working and coordinating with the Technical teams in documenting business and functional requirements Minimum 6–8 Years Experience in overseeing project deliverables Minimum 6–8 Years Experience in designing the Data model and application Prototypes.
