Assistant Management Accountant

Page Personnel is working in partnership with a vibrant, growing business in Liverpool city centre to recruit for a part qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing accountancy function.

This company has experienced over 100% growth in the last 12 months and is forecasting to maintain it's growth for the next year. Their target market is across an international customer base and they are now operating in over 50 countries worldwide.

Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your role as Assistant Management Accountant will be to cover the following responsibilities:

• Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts and management packs
• Posting journals and supporting schedules
• Accruals and prepayments
• Significant project work to help improve the financial processes and systems to help optimise business performance
• VAT returns
• Daily cash flow reporting and analysis, managing debtors and creditors
• Managing the fixed asset register
• Bank reconciliations
• Overseeing payroll, including calculation and submissions, p11ds, filing

Profile

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

• Part qualified and actively studying CIMA/ACCA
• Experience working in a management accounts environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire and ambition to become fully qualified and progress within a fast growing business
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong systems experience (Sage, Xero etc)
