Description

As the Senior Accountant you will be a pivotal part of the EMEA Finance and operations functions for this international group. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of activities in this highly diverse role which combines technical accounting and commercial exposure. You will be managing a portfolio of EMEA entities on a day to day basis, with a hands on approach with continuous management of accruals, prepayments, inter company, general ledger and reconciliations. But as the EMEA Accountant you will also be a key point of contact to other areas of the finance team such as AP and outsourced accounts to ensure accurate preparation of Statutory accounts and Tax returns.

Profile

For this Senior Accountant role in Reading we're looking for a qualified candidate (ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified) The Senior Accountant will be reporting into the Finance Controller and will be presenting regularly to senior stakeholders including the FD so this person will need to be extremely confident presenting their findings. Previous experience in the technology sector is highly advantageous but not a pre-requisite for this great role. Previous experience in a Top 50 Practice environment will also be advantageous.
