The role of Financial Analyst will support the Commercial Finance Directors and Head of FP&A in providing oversight and review of business performance to the UK RoW NAM region and Support Services. Description

  • Supporting the Commercial Finance Directors and Head of FP&A in overseeing the financial accounting inputs/outputs to/from the business to ensure that transactions are accurate and posted in a timely fashion, and accurately reflect business activity
  • Producing analysis and insights e.g. for board packs and other management information
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasting of revenues, costs and cash
  • Working with the Commercial Finance Directors and Head of FP&A to prepare and review business cases, or supporting them in strategic analysis and decision making
  • Maintenance of the hierarchies in the Hierarchy Management Tool, including creation of any new teams
  • Bonus and commission payments analysis
  • Any internal or external audit activity required
  • Production of external client MI
  • Providing support to the operational business with technical matters such as AWR, IR35 and any other employment legislation affecting the recruitment industry
  • Reviews of client contracts and production of rate calculators to ensure compliance with PSA's
  • Reviews of temp bill and pay rates on key clients to ensure compliance with PSA's
  • Calculation of incentives
  • Undertaking employment cost analysis and review of other spend categories
  • Preparation of backouts and adjustments and controls based reporting
  • Production of any country specific reporting or information to ensure that we are operating in accordance with local requirements eg BEE in South Africa
  • Other ad-hoc internal and external reporting as required by their business

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Very strong financial modelling skills
  • Understanding of the recruitment industry (threats, challenges, opportunities) beneficial but not essential
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more of UK, Middle East, South Africa, NAM areas highly desirable
  • Professional accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
