Do you have a desire to undertake ACCA or CIMA?

If so we're recruiting for a company looking for a Trainee Accountant who they will support through their qualification.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the following skills
  • Degree level qualified with a 2:1 or higher
  • Good knowledge of Excel or capacity to learn
  • Organised, with good attention to detail
  • Easy-going and able to work to deadlines
  • A logical and methodical approach
  • Numerate
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, desirable
  • Ability to think outside the box and undertake new tasks which may arise
  • Ability to work well in a team

Primarily you will be responsible for the following
  • Process purchase ledger invoices
  • Create sales orders and invoices
  • Assist in payroll, with a view to learning the function
  • Post payments and receipts onto the Company’s internal system
  • Deal with supplier account queries
  • Customer credit control
  • Self-billing invoicing and monitoring consignment stock
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Supplier account queries
  • Weekly business performance reports
  • Supplier payment runs
  • Project close out reports
  • Stock control analysis
  • Assist in month end accounting
  • Provide cost control & revenue recognition
  • Cover Transport duties when needed
  • Cover Reception duties when needed
  • To be flexible to meet the needs of the business
