Chartered Accountant

This reputable Belfast based Accountancy Practice are looking for Accountant on a permanent basis.

Having experienced a period of rapid growth, there is now a newly created position for an ambitious individual with recent experience gained in an Accountancy Practice.

Primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Preparation/review of financial statements for a wide range of clients;

- Carry out face-to-face meetings with clients to when providing accounting services;

- Preparing accounts and tax (personal and corporate) returns for clients as well as advise on related business matters;

- Support clients with the creation of effective procedures to maximise tax efficiencies;

- Dealing with tax enquiries;

- Client financial and management accounting as required;

- Working as a client liaison and taking responsibility for queries and accounting support;

- Providing specific accounting and business support for SME directors;

- Occasional support of Payroll services;

- Promoting the range of services offered by the practice;

- Mentoring and guiding junior staff when required; and

- Ad hoc duties as requested by the practice management team

Experience:

- Applicants must be Qualified or Part Qualified (CAI/ACA/CIMA/ACA/CIA/ICAS);

- Recent experience of working with an Accountancy Practice is absolutely essential;

- Previous experience working with Sage or similar accounting software; and

- Proficiency in using Excel.
