Finance Officer- Belfast City Centre

Reed Accountancy Belfast is delighted to be working with a local charity based in Belfast City Centre. Our client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Finance Officer to join their team on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract basis to cover a period of maternity. This role is offering full time hours (35 hours per week) and a salary of up to £19,394 per annum.

The main duties and responsibilities will be as follows:

· Assisting with the production of monthly payroll, and to help ensure that all payments are made in line with internal and statutory policy, payroll is paid by a relevant deadline and all supporting documentation has been completed and processed appropriately

· Management Accounts- Supporting in the preparation of the monthly routine and non-routine journals

· Management of the Debtors Ledgers ensuring monthly reconciliation

· Assisting in the preparation of information for grant applications or funded programmes when required

· Ensuring that all back up documentation for grants or funded programmes is filed and stored

· Assisting with recording, lodgements and banking of monies

· Working effectively within the Finance Team to help achieve departmental goals

· Effectively maintain all recording systems employed by the service, including financial transactions and petty cash

· General administrative duties
