An excellent opportunity has arisen within this growing retail brand supporting the finance function as an Assistant Accountant reporting into the Finance Director.
You will be a highly organised and motivated ACCA/CIMA part/newly qualified Accountant who will strengthen the team, providing the Finance Director with key support on daily operations.
This will be a busy role requiring a high level of attention to detail and using multiple systems.
Main Accountabilities:
*Preparing and producing management accounts
*Responsible for month end
*Reporting and analysis
*Multi currency bank reconciliations
*Producing VAT returns
*Inputting and updating financial data onto online systems
*Maintaining accurate stock database and ensuring it's integrity
*Involved in various projects
*Any other duties requested by the Financial Controller
Experience/Qualification Required:
*You will have solid experience gained within a similar role
*You will currently be studying ACCA/CIMA and be part/newly qualified
*Proven communication skills, verbal and written
*You will be highly organised and pay excellent attention to detail
*Able to work under pressure to given deadlines
*A can do attitude is essential
*Xero experience and Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
*Experience with Apparel Magic advantageous
