My client based on the outskirts of Horsham are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on the outskirts of Horsham. This role is to cover Maternity cover and will begin in April 2019.

Duties for this role will include:
  • To chase clients for overdue balances, ensuring that clients keep to their agreed payment terms.
  • To work closely with the AR team to communicate when an invoice cannot be paid due to PO overspend.
  • To investigate and promptly respond to client queries, either direct or via Project Managers and Business Development Managers.
  • To raise credit notes and new invoices relating from Queries.
  • To work closely with the AR & Credit Control Manager to provide details of clients that have issues preventing payments being made
  • To keep account information up to date within Coda (in house accounts system)
  • To run the Ledger within Excel on a monthly basis for updating throughout the month
  • To post and allocate multi-currency Cash receipts on Excel and in Coda
  • To update on a daily basis cash received and cash expected spreadsheets within Excel
  • To run client statements and email at the beginning of the new month
  • To produce a weekly report showing overdue and due at the end of the month clients for cash and DSO forecasting.
  • To reconcile the "unearned cash receipts" within the month end close week.
  • To produce the "Baddebt" reconciliation and provision within the month end

Previous Credit Control experience is required for this position and you must be able to commit to the 11 month temporary contract for maternity cover. You will need your own transport for this position due to the location.
