Simpson Judge are recruiting on behalf of a Global Leader based in Solihull for a Qualified Management Accountant.

Reporting into and supporting the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for Accounting and Reporting for the UK entity of the Business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support the business with management reporting
  • Producing the monthly management accounts and relevant reports for the UK entity and subsidiaries of the UK holding
  • Producing the UK quarterly reporting packages with supporting documents
  • Producing the cashflow forecast for the UK entity and subsidiaries
  • Compiling the quarterly forecast and annual budget for the UK entity and support with subsidiaries
  • Analysing performance and producing management information as required
  • Liaising with Senior Management regarding results and reporting requirements
  • Presenting UK results and monthly management review calls
  • Assisting Financial Controller with ad-hoc requirements on other European entities

Ensure the integrity of the UK entity balance sheet through various accounting support processes
  • Monitoring accounting controls and processes to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory requirements
  • Monitoring the UK reconciliation process to ensure all reconciliations are up to date and tidy
  • Reviewing the UK VAT return before submission to ensure accuracy
  • Checking all UK payments before release on the banking system
  • Supporting the UK audit
  • Reviewing the statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
Skills & Experience:
  • CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountant
  • Experience of delivering successful results in a similar role and fast paced environment
  • Global Industry experience - Supply Chain, Tech, Manufacturing, FMCG
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously, with own initiative and to manage tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
  • A neat, methodical, professional approach to work with the skills to prioritise accordingly and flexible attitude required to react to change when needed
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience working with Oracle is highly desired
