Fund Accountant (PE & Hedge)

Job Description

• Perform month-end close processes/financial statement preparation

• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly cash reconciliations for multiple entities

• Accurate calculation of fund NAV's

• General support on Fund accounting and administration

• Work with regional teams on fund accounting matters

• Job rotation and exposure to selected funds and regions

• Reconcile the funds positions/securities to outside sources

• Prepare and review financial work papers including balance sheets, operating statements, cash flows, and other accounting reports

• Post accounting entries to ledger

• Assist team and clients on fund admin related tasks

• Prepares fund expense invoices for clients

Ideal Candidate should have the followings

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent from a reputable university

• 2-4 years of fund accounting or full set accounting experience in financial services industry

• Candidate with big 4 background and PE/ hedge fund experience will be an advantage

• Strong communications in Cantonese, English and Mandarin

• A good team player and willing to work in a multicultural team setting

• Good computer skills including Excel, able to design spreadsheet, create and run reports from accounting systems
