A superb opportunity within a highly successful proactive and highly regarded firm of East Sussex chartered accountants has arisen for a career focused practice professional, to join this team as Accounts & Audit Senior Manager/ Partner Designate in a role offering a very clear path and progression towards partnership/equity/profit share on a flexible timescale, moulded around the preferences of the right individual.

Client Details

The firm has an excellent reputation across Sussex, The South East and further afield for providing quality services and added value project work to its varied client base across ltd companies, OMBs in varied industries. With a a strategy focused on growth and with succession to plan for within the firm, the partners are looking for the right individual who can progress here with a clear path on offer to Director/Partner level.

The firm has several audits ranging from £10 million to circa £80 million in turnover range, with some decent sized groups and corporates, alongside wide ranging sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across varied sectors and turnovers under the audit threshold. The firm is forward moving, having embraced paperless systems, Xero and other online accounting software. There are wide ranging projects and added value work to get involved in across specialist areas of corporate tax, corporate finance, business sales and due diligence projects as a few non exhaustive examples.

Description

Joining as Senior Manager / Partner Designate, based in the firms offices near Uckfield, whilst you will have the expected responsibilities of managing a client portfolio covering a wide range of business sectors, delivering audit, accounting and taxation services and providing business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. Alongside this, a key part of your role will involve actively becoming a part of the local business community, networking, developing relationships and looking to further the growth and development of the firms client base. The opportunity therefore provides a genuine chance to develop towards partnership with the associated skills required and you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to step up into this level of role.

Profile

You will be ACA, ACCA qualified with a strong background in accountancy practice gained within any, or a varied mix of small, medium/large independent accounting firm size, or top 100, mid tier or top tier firm background. You will have skills across the range any of of audit, accounts, tax, advisory and planning skills. You will be looking to step up into a Director/Partner level role and be able to demonstrate the skills required with relationship building skills and be searching for a challenging new career opportunity, with a clear path on offer to progress to Director/Partner level.

Job Offer

£60,000 - £70,000 dependent on experience and background, plus benefits, commission etc, negotiable
