As Oac continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Finance Operations Manager to join our experienced Finance team. This position seeks to provide high quality transactional accounting services to OAC including responsibility for the management of key transactional processes, including billings and collections, payroll, accounts payable and expenses. This role will partner with key support teams, including Family Support and HR, to ensure that the end to end processes are efficient and supported by robust systems and master data management.

Reporting through to this role is the accounts payable and expenses team members, and the accounts receivable manager and payroll manager - therefore this role is accountable for mentoring and the professional growth of these functions.

In addition, the role needs to establish and continually modify general accounting procedures and systems to gain process improvements and play a lead role in the implementation of the new rostering & timesheet system and any future business systems and process improvement and automation initiatives

What we are looking for:
  • Essential to be a Chartered Accountant or an Associate of CPA Australia or its equivalent with a minimum of five years' experience and skilled in all aspects of financial accounting.
  • Experience in a commercial environment.
  • Experience in delivering process improvement initiatives to enhance the operational efficiency of the organisation
  • Experience in implementing appropriate processes and controls to manage customer, supplier and employee master data
  • Experience in working with transactional finance systems and ERP systems.
  • Experience in all payroll requirements.
  • Experience in delivering impeccable customer/stakeholder service.
