Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze customer business needs and participate in the planning, design and implementation of new and/or enhanced systems. Supports the user community in the use of functional business tools and support systems.

Specific duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Facilitate analysis sessions
  • Gather and prepare business user requirements for system changes
  • Analyze and model requirements
  • Provides customer support in the maintenance of systems.
  • Creation of test plans, test cases and test scripts to validate business requirements
  • May serve as liaison between customers and technical staff in implementation and development of business process automation.
  • Tests and/or coordinates testing of new installations or upgrades
  • Consults with vendors or technical staff to insure that functionality of automated system is consistent with adherence to laws, regulations, and best practice standards by users
  • Assists in the development of standards and procedures used in development of new or enhancement of existing systems
  • Participates in the establishment of standards and procedures to be used in the development of systems
  • Researches and analyzes system/user problems by applying a variety of analytical and research techniques

Entry Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field Or Associate degree in a related field and two years of related experience Or Two years at the lower level or equivalent (ITP060)

Preferred Skills:

  • Enterprise Application Implementations
  • Researches and analyzes system/user problems by applying a variety of analytical and research techniques
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Experience using SharePoint as a repository for project documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
