Accounting Assistant (Contract to permanent, listed company)

My client is a listed company with a growing business in the APAC region. With business covering retail and also education, they have continued to expand their outreach.

To ensure the smoothness of their operations, they are now looking for an Accounting Assistant to join their group level finance team as a contractor and to be extended to a permanent position after 3 months.

about the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with 2 counterparts, you will be responsible for the financial reporting duties for the group. You will be working on the full sets of accounts for the company's HK business, while also responsible for the month-end closing. As your contract changes to permanent, your role within the accounting team will be reviewed, giving you the opportunity to explore on different areas and focus to continue to progress your career.

skills and experience required

• 3+ years of financial accounting experience with hands on skills in handling full sets of accounts and month end closing
• A teamwork driven personality, responsible and dynamic; a person with a strong willingness to learn
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant disciplines
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Immediately available is highly preferred
