About Them
Our client is one of the leading property investment companies in Blackpool and the South East. They are looking for a Lettings Assistant to come and join their Head Office team in the centre of Blackpool.
The Role
Your main duty will be chasing owed and coming up payments from tenants. You will also be checking in with tenants and making sure they are aware of when their next payment is and if they will be able to make it on time. As well as building relationships with your tenants, you will also be booking in repairs and dealing with queries and reported issues regarding the tenants properties and liaising with the relevant department within the business to get it resolved.
The Fit
The perfect candidate for this role will have a full clean UK driving license as well as their own car. This is because you will not just be office based. You will be attending property checks and viewings in and around the Blackpool area. As well as that, in order to be considered for this role, you will need to have experience chasing payments in arrears from your tenants in addition to building the relationships with them. Ideally you will have experience working as a Credit Controller or similar position within the property, investment or hospitality sector. You will need to have great research skills as well as the ability to pick up new process and learn new skills quickly. You will also have a “go get it” attitude towards work.
