Holiday Sales Finance Analyst Temporary

You will be responsible for the completion of day to day holiday sales management accounting duties and monthly reconciliation processes. You will also be assisting the Holiday Sales Finance Manager in supporting the holiday sales central team to achieve profit targets. Your responsibilities will include: Posting weekly journals to record income using data from bookings system and hotel revenue system Posting weekly statistics in relation to holiday salesAccounting for central holiday sales costs including marketing, commercial IT and contact centrePreparation of monthly holiday sales management reportsMonthly reconciliation of deferred income, and debtors and daily cash reconciliations in relation to holiday salesControl of cash receipts from booking agents and reconciliation of commission payments to agentsBudgeting and forecasting for holiday sales income and central costsPreparation of reports for budget reviews with central office Holiday Sales Budget HoldersDevelopment of KPI's and trend analysisResponsibility for FCA compliance in relation to client money for insurance receipts and completion of monthly FCA client money reconciliation processAssist in the updating of processes across the business as a result of new developmentsInvolvement in building and tracking the profit improvement plans for the holiday sales areaAssist in providing training to other teams within the businessEnsure all key processes and reports are delivered in a timely manner and with a high level of accuracyAttending training courses throughout to progress own skillsAny other ad hoc duties The successful candidate will have: Qualified to AAT level or part-qualified ACCA/CIMAAdvanced Excel skillsAble to manage own workload and work as part of a larger teamStrong organisational skillsFlexibility and ability to work to set deadlinesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsSUN accounting software including Q&A(Desirable) Please note this is a temporary position initially for 4-8 weeks.
